Dee Sunshine (previously known as Dee Rimbaud and also known as Captain Melted) used to consider himself to be a 'writer' and an 'artist'. In fairness, he's written a lot, published a few books (under his previous name), produced reams of artwork and had many pieces published in print and on the internet. Nowadays though he's no longer sure what he really is. He still writes and makes art occasionally, but recently became obsessed with making electronic sound collages and that has been his main interest for a while. In 2009 he took off for a six month trip to India, putting everything on pause to allow himself to reassess his life. As yet, he has come to no conclusions about anything. He no longer anticipates doing so in the near future. Slowly, he is becoming reconciled to this. At the time of writing (July 2009) he is crashing on his sister's floor in Edinburgh, but this state of affairs will only last for 2 weeks and he'll have to move onto someplace else, but where exactly, he doesn't know yet. He has faith that something will surely unfold and the next step in his journey will become clear.
